The most limited War Bear release to date arrives November 11, with 390 boxes of 21 cigars available for purchase.
November 4, 2026 — Powstanie has opened retailer orders for War Bear 2026, the latest cigar in its annual Wojtek Series. The limited-edition box-pressed Churchill debuts on Veterans Day, November 11, at a suggested retail price of $16.50 per cigar or $346.50 per box of 21.
The Veterans Day release honors Wojtek, the bear who served with the Polish II Corps during World War II. Enlisted as a soldier, Wojtek helped carry ammunition during the Battle of Monte Cassino. His wartime service inspired Powstanie’s Wojtek Series, which began in 2019.
War Bear 2026 measures 7 x 48 and features the Wojtek blend in a barber-pole format. Ecuadorian Habano and Mexican San Andrés wrappers spiral around an Indonesian binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The cigars are made at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
